THE STORY OF MARRIAGE BAND
This is the story of a village, Shaikhpura. It comes under the jurisdiction of an old Tahseel of Northern India,
which is a Muslim-dominated area. But, there is a small Basti of backward Hindus in the middle of Shaikpura which is called LoharTola.
This Basti was established by a Muslim Zamindar many decades back with the sole aim of getting his work done in his fields and other such works.

‘ MAJAZ -A LIFE IN POETRY ’ is his first directed feature film along with Huma Khalil.

He has recently directed Hindi feature film ‘ TAKILA ’ which is recently release worldwide on Apple T V and Google Play

His new Hindi feature 'GOD MUST DIE ’ will be screened at Cannes Film Festival 2024

He directed a documentary film "Bazaar Karte Hain Baatein- Naye Puraney Zamaney Ki" for rajya sabha TV, 'Mahamana' , a Docu- drama on the life, work and inspiration of Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya". Mustajab Malik Recently completed a docu drama TV series 'Charagh - e - Hind' for Zee TV channel.

He has directed documentary “ Kaal: concept of time in India”, 'Kitab ki kahani: from Oral recitation to printing press, 'Kaprey Ka Safar: story of fabrics in India'

Awarded a Fellowship in Folk Theatre by Ministry of culture, Government of India.

Mustajabuddin Malik is a disciple of Late Habib Tanvir and worked with his 'Naya Theatre' for many years. He is popularly known as Ram Leela Guru. He has Written and Directed some award winning Hindi Plays like "Daastan-e-Ram", "Bahot Andhera Hai", "Kahin Kisi Mor Pe "and " Recall" among others. He has been a former member culture board - Association of Indian Universities (AI U). Govt. of India. Mustajab Malik has served as a film festival director of "International Youth Film Festival , New Delhi.
